Baked salmon on
spinach and basil

Lunch

Lunch in a ketogenic kitchen may well see a good piece of meat or fish on the plate. The fatty parts? They will be eaten too. In addition: a large fresh salad with olive oil dressing or vegetables doused in butter: perfect for getting through the afternoon.

Ingredients for 1 person:

  • 300g salmon filet
  • 10 g butter
  • 50g spinach leaves
  • 50g basil leaves
  • 80g parmesan cheese
  • 100ml whipped cream
  • sea salt
  • pepper

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C. 
  2. Grease a small casserole dish with butter.
  3. Wash and dry the spinach and basil leaves, lay them in the casserole dish, salt and pepper them. 
  4. Lay the salmon filet on the bed of leaves with the skin side down, and then pour the cream over it. 
  5. Grate the parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the salmon. 
  6. Cook it in the oven for about 20 minutes, and then enjoy.
